Vector graphics are awesome for obvious reasons: mostly infinite resolution. I just wanted to share my Celtic sisterhood knot because it was very hard to make and it took hours. I’m new to Inkscape, so I wonder if there was an easier way I could have made it.

United Earth Flag
- Inspired by Thomas Mandl’s One World Flag
- Dude really missed the opportunity to color the Earth with a pale blue instead of just blue
- The Pale Blue Dot: Earth, as seen from the rest of the universe
- Serene and peaceful
- The Moon, Luna, the sole, beloved companion of Earth (scaled proportionally)
- Two obelisks/satellites/spaceships reaching out to the rest of the universe
- Transparent background representing the all-encompassing unity of the Unified Earth
Martian Flag
- Mars, the dusty-red circle, scaled proportionally to the Earth flag
- The Celtic sisters’ or sisterhood knot: signifying proximity and unity; Mars being designated as the “sister” of Earth
- Also has a transparent background as homage and tradition for other planet flags
